I was gonna say it bears repeating but then I was like maybe I should just stop reading FB comments… at least until this local case is over 😭
Unless you're on the jury, don't read the details until the trial is over, if at all. By then, you'll get just the highlights, not the nitty-gritty. It'll save you a lot of grief and agony.

And do everything you can to never serve on one of THOSE trials again. Sometimes I still wake up thinking about that stuff. it was 10 years ago.

I told them privately. We were starting to suspect she was in the beginning stages of senility or Alzheimer's. We didn't push for fear of shutting her down completely - the usual result of questions or comments she considered insults. Unfortunately, we were right, but on the bright side, she had a huge basket of fries all to herself!
This makes sense
