Thinking about getting some geese... advice?

Also, sorry for my ignorance, but around how much would older geese cost? I know goslings can be gotten for between $10 and $15, a reasonable price to me.

Wow! Those are Aztec ducks, Don't see much of those around. They looked a lot like a Butterscotch call so sorry for my incorrect breed input.

Side question, but has anyone here ordered from Ideal Poultry? They sell geese, I think the minimum is two, but I can't seem to figure out their shipping. Just 7$ handling charge or something not very specific. Doesn't seem like it would be free.

I bought my Geese from Ideal , I paid about 40$ total for two African/Chinese Geese female, That was a few years back though so they might have raised there prices since then.

Pure Africans would def be more costly because most that are Called African are actually brown Chinese. From what I’ve read on here.

Pure African geese would cost a lot more. Hatchery "African Geese" is just an African crossed with a Chinese Goose, They cross with a Chinese because African geese egg production is relatively low compared to other breeds.
