We've been thinking about getting some ducks. Are they hard to raise and what are the minimum requirements needed to raise them?

Raising ducklings isn't a hard thing to do. Heat, food, water, space, you can't really go wrong. But I would say do your homework first and see if you have the time and space and everything you need!
:)

Depends on your circumstances. Are you keeping chickens already? How do you plan on starting out, hatch your own, purchasing ducklings or adolescent birds? What are your goals/reasons for raising ducks?

Ducks do require more time and effort than chickens.

I have 3 ducks and they are a dream to look after, they pinched the kids paddling pool so that answered the water issue...............mine eat the same things as the chickens in general, layers feed and kitchen scraps alongside maize (which they go mad for) and they would literally cross oceans for a handful of peas! they bunk with the chickens at night and pretty much please themselves
