we are getting replacement pullets in a week or so, and later this summer i will be looking for homes for 5-6 4 year old purebreed hens. i just want them to go to good forever homes, but does anyone usually want to adopt older hens? any one have any ideas? just looking for advice. thanks.

I'll trade snow for this ice!!!!! I covered my bernese mt. dog's snow pile i made the other day before it froze - he loves his snow.

looking for egg layers - extra pullets anyone?

will pullets be as friendly or be able to be as friendly as hand raised chicks? we wanna hold them.....

I'm going to be hatching like crazy this spring. I have Buff Orpingtons, White Jersey Giants, Rosecombs, Silkies, Easter Eggers, and mutts.

Chickens are usually tamer/calmer if they were handraised.

I got ALOT of chicks that need some loving!!! Only 2.00 each they are red sex links. I am in Elkton, Md.

P.S. I will trade this snow and ice, for 95' weather any day!
