awww did it hatch just now?
yes She did. First one out.awww did it hatch just now?
If you can read the assited hatch 101 guide before doing soI need hatch help.... I have one that pipped (wrong end) about 22 hours ago. It was peeping loudly. Now its peep is weakening and it kind of clicks with every breath. Should I help it?
I've read it over and over when I did my first hatch and again in the middle of this one I'm just not sure if I should help quite yet. Just seems like the chick is getting weaker. If you can read the assited hatch 101 guide before doing so
the biggest thing from what i have read is to go slowly so the yolk and the veins have time to recede back into the chick. Pull away a tiny peace of shell first to see if the veins are small and translucent or thick and blood filled because you don't want to cut though any before this happens. but if you pull away a peace of shell and see no veins keep taking off tiny peaces of shell in a "cap" like motion like the chick would zip off normally. but do not remove the membrane just the shell first and keep the membrane moist until the chick makes it's own way out or until you have to intervene moreI need hatch help....
