It is fun chatting with people in other places! That is not an expression I hear in Arizona. Our kids might be "pumped"!

I know what you mean, I've come across a load of new expressions and meanings for words here since people are from all over the world. I've heard of pumped but people around were I live don't usually use it!

Flump's actually going through a partial moult so I thought that would have put the judges off since her tail feathers were slightly scraggly but he still really liked her. I was bombarded with people asking if I was going to hatch chicks from her. It was a busy but rewarding day yesterday

I got some better photos of her today with her rosettes out of the show cage. She just took it as a chance to try and eat them at one point

I would love to show my Silkie roo or hen, but I have no idea where to start. They are from breeder stock at least.

I would start by going first as an observer and seeing the different breeds. That is how I got started. There are so many birds. I have had some champions and reserve champions but initially I took some birds to show that I thought looked good and was surprised they didn't place as well as I thought they would but kept working on my breeding program and sought advice from other breeders.

There will be more photos to come over the new few days. I was considering making a flock thread to update with my birds and such in the ones place.

I'm hatching some chicks soon from my second placed PomPom and some of my other silkies so that'd come in handy for people wanting to see the results.
