I had a pullet a few years ago named Gucci who would drop over and play dead laying with her face beak down into the ground.

Headless chicken! The black one is kind of runty and I'm still half expecting it to just keel over one day, so bonus points for being the only dead-looking one in this pic.

Idk about the black one, but the one in the middle of the 1st pic, is a heart stopper for sure!

She had some kind of developmental issues and had issues walking. Literally every time I saw her like this I thought she had passed. Fortunately, if a called her name she would move.
