This chicken is not dead

I do not have any pictures right now . . . but my favorite hen, Ruby, once scared me really badly when she was laying in a pile of dirt on her side. Usually she gets up and runs to me when I call the chickens but she did not that time. I did NOT need that scare, Ruby!

Here's a cockerel hubby picked up, who zonked out, I poked him a few times to be sure he was OK and he'd go right back to this slumped position

She was yes. She died in November of 2022. I still have her sister, D'Barge, but she is my last legbar.
I love the legbars but mine haven't been very hardy.

I was in the run the other day and saw some legs sticking out from under the coop. I have some old hens, and its been very hot, so I was certain someone was dead. I walked over and touched her feet. She came unglued!
I jump started her heart and mine.
