So true! It has been 117 degrees Fahrenheit with me worrying about the chickens, and then I take a look outside and they are sunbathing.Its amazing how on days when we are hauling them ice and frozen treats, and worrying about heatstroke, they just flop down out in sun at the hottest time of the day.
Precious!This one actually scared me last night when I was tucking the chickens in…. especially because if was dark in the coop. I had to wake little Texas up because even after taking the (flash) photos, he hadn’t flinched.

Turns out Tex was fine. Just too hot to snuggle under mommy Specs. But I did have to wake him up to feel better about it.
