Here is Christmas Day baby, alive and well! The upside down baby in the incubator is the one on the far right, Solstice, and those are her siblings Thistle and Treacle.

I am so sorry.

It's okay. Other than being blind and nearly deaf, he was pretty darned healthy for 31-year-old. He was well loved his whole life - I'd had him since he was almost two - and very spoiled in his old age. Better yet, he went peacefully in his sleep.
On a lighter note, he was also an expert at "playing dead," stretching out in the sun, looking for all the world like he was a goner. I could walk right up to him and join him for a nap. They're all special, but Billy was my one-and-only Heart Horse.
