You guys will get a kick out of this..the first day or so we let our chickens out in their run they did this sun/dust bathing and I was so upset I really thought something was wrong!! They were fine and happy

I called my niece in a panic - she was unsympathetic to me told me I needed to go learn about chickens…. And here I am on BYC learning all about being a crazy chicken lady

That was Samuel. He turned out to be a real and is no longer part of the flock.

The "not quite dead" pullet was Martha. She was my favorite.
