This chicken is not dead

How old are they now? I'll bet that one has a big personality.
About 10 Weeks old now, he's still dramatic and feels the need to Photo Bomb all other Chicken Photos.📸

If I drove by and spotted him, I'd be knocking on your door, in a panic!
I remember someone dropping by my friends place to tell her that her horse was dead in the field.

We looked out there and laughed, my friend yelled ‘come on guys’ and the horse jumped up and ran up to the fence with the rest of the horses.

The person who stopped in was not convinced there was nothing wrong with the horse. 🤨

My husband called me at work one day and said he was rushing home. A neighbor had called to say he thought something was wrong with our horse Boo. He was just laying flat in the pasture and didn’t move when called to come to the fence for treats (which is when we found out the neighbor had been sneaking him treats lol).
Husband also called our friend who was a deputy sheriff to see if he was patrolling close to the house. When husband got home, he almost couldn’t get in the driveway. There were two sheriff’s cars and one local PD’s police car in the driveway (for manpower to pick the horse up) and the county mounted patrol truck
and trailer was on the way in case the horse needed to go to the vet.

The deputies said when they walked out in the pasture, Boo looked at them, got up, did the big full body “shake and stretch”, then calmly walked to his stall and started eating some hay.

:lau:lau:lau:lau

After that, many times over the years, we would see him happily asleep flat out in the pasture.
