I think you should name her Emmy…No need for acting classes, this one is a natural!
That sounds like an X-rated post.Mr. Darcy “dies” while in the bath with his two favorite hens, Pokey, and Hoochie Mama:

I have a marginally friendly young rooster who has suddenly become my best buddy. He's definitely low man on the totem pole, so it's hard for him to settle in with one of the ladies for a preening session ... and he now knows that I can reach the porcupine pinfeathers on his head and neck! Not dead. Just molting and miserable.

I like to give little Micky a good scratching occasionally. He is almost always on his own because all the other chickens seem to dislike him. The I have to be careful when I pick him up though. What a handsome fellow! I started dabbing my thumb & forefinger with a little petroleum jelly (Vaseline with no scent) and massaging my Sammy's wattles. Once he realizes I'm not going to eat him, he stops biting. He still fusses when I first pick him up, but I think that's mostly for show, because now he closes his eyes and completely relaxes when I do it!I like to give little Micky a good scratching occasionally.
