Good grief! That is high up on my list of most likely ways I will die. Tripping over a cat at the top of the stairs is still at #1.

Mine also do the thing where they come hurtling around the corner and then just stand there like they weren't running half a second ago and aren't in a rush to do anything in particular

Preening/licking as a distraction from an embarrassing mis-step is another thing they have in common.
No I always intended to do that, see I am just having a little bit of a wash and brush up before going about my day. Nothing to see here!

Junapurr's first appearance. Poor baby was so terrified. She was very young, she still had blue eyes.

But she quickly made herself at home.

She's not much of a mouser but she knows how to track a dust bunny

Bootiful Boo, my first kitten. She was also a found kitty. She was so feral that I had to wear work gloves to handle her.
Boo is a great mouser
She will come inside for short visits but prefers the outdoors

Boo is 6 years old and will always be tiny. June, at 4 years, weighs almost 3lbs more than Boo.
