I'll have to do that. My luck, that would be the only one fertilized. haha!
 
SO! Not good news. Candled again today. Still all yolks. Cracked two open, one from each set we put in. They look nice and yellow, like you could eat them. No "target"
Bummed. Feel like 21 eggs wasted. I could have baked a cake or something!
Guess I'm in the market for a rooster now. hah!
 
Well crap. We did two more groups of eggs. All yolks. Not sure that my "rooster" is a rooster and NOW it appears a coyote has ran off with two of my hens. This is getting to be more difficult than I first anticipated.

I'll try to snap one tomorrow after work and post it. Maybe you all can tell me if I need to go rooster shoppin'! I'm definitely going to go for something besides solid white. Starting to think my poor birds are walking targets
 
Good news! So since our coyote issues we decided to coop up the chickens.
Since then, all the eggs we have taken out have been fertilized! Guess he's a HE after all! Just wasn't getting any with the girls running around ;)
They've been in the incubator since the 8th. Going to post a picture later after candling if I can get a good one!
