I haven't been on here in a long while. Had to move and couldn't bring my birds. Sad and I miss them. But that's not why I decided to post.
Unfortunately with Covid for many like myself, things change and what we use to do, we may not do now. The same people who used to post are still around. As things settle and life picks up again, will come back to post.
I often remind people the best experience is one you figure out yourself. Suggestions from others made through the internet are hard to apply and may not even work. If we always rely on another in times of need, then imo we miss out on the lessons learned. If nothing else you'll learn what not to do the next time.
My motto in life, if you don't like it change it. Speak from your heart and call out those who do little but create drama.

experience and knowledge comes from screwups too. But first one has to have the guts to try. Someone trying on thier own these days isn't too common. Its like everybody is co dependent. Doing by thierself is scary

I don't know how this forum used to be like since I just got my chicks earlier this month. I've recently posted a few times, asking questions that I wasn't sure of and I got very useful answers. I hope this group doesn't go away because it is pretty important to those of us who are really new and need the help and support. I've joined a few FB groups but the only one I seem to be logging into regularly and feel comfortable to post to is this site.

I think @Geena meant this in a "drop the mic!" or "Sourland got the last word!" kind of way, not in a, "you better shut it down" kind of way. It was a compliment, an accolade, if you will. At least, that's how I read it.
