The stance and spurs make him look like a game roo of some sort. When I was younger, I had a little mixed bantam roo...his spurs were about 2 1/2 inches long!!! My dad would routinely cut them back....
I have real Gamecocks, caught wild from Greenwood SC, just this past June. They were recently hatched up there, and DH brought home 13 at one time. They grew to be 7 roosters, and 6 hens. That went downhill real fast, about a month ago. The dominant male rooster..was busy taking heads off of all the other roosters that morning, and I had to separate them all. We now have 1 rooster left, and the 6 hens. I don't know how to load the pictures on here yet though.
