This is my chicken Hoop, the guy i brought her from said she was an Ameruacana. It’s been 8 months since i got her and she hasn’t laid an egg. I thought maybe she was stressed or something but i don’t think so, because Hoop is my most playful chicken, the way she earned her name is because she hops around the coop. Maybe the hopping is bad, I don’t really know what to do. I think she’s a girl, i mean i thought she looks like it but she won’t lay or even nest in the area, my other chicken Goldie nests and lays so i know they know where to do it. please help me, i’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about her so we can get to the bottom of this.

She's not an Ameraucana. Definitely a pullet though. Looks like she should be laying very soon.

Well, she's not an ameraucana, first off. so if you have been looking for blue eggs, you won't from her. She may be laying already and you just didn't notice. She looks like a sapphire gem, which is a mix that lays brown.

She's not an Ameraucana. Definitely a pullet though. Looks like she should be laying very soon.

I know she definitely doesn't look like one, but that is what the man told me when he sold her to me, so I don't really know. I really hope she lays soon though.

She definitely will if she isn't already. That comb and those wattles are bright red.

He lied. She definitely isn't one. She has a single comb, lack muffs + beard, and most likely does not lay blue eggs.

She is a girl for sure and she is not an Amercana looks like a Blue austlrop or a shappire gem.
