I currently have two Hookbill ducklings (as well as my other adult ducks). One is 7 1/2 weeks old and definitely a male. The other, is only 5 weeks old and I am thinking she is a girl but I am hoping for confirmation. She (or he) started making slight honking sounds, a week and a half ago, so she has to be a girl, right? But, this duckling mostly only peeps and has not made anything but peeps in the last day or so. I have never had a duck do this before. Here are two videos of her honking a few days ago:
