This is a rooster, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure it's a cockerel. It looks like it has sickles and saddle feathers coming in. Are the hackle feathers pointed or rounded on the ends? Can you see any sign of tiny spurs?

Just wanted to say, my experience with TSC's "sexed pullets" is NOT good. I have no clue what hatchery mine uses, but out of my 5 "sexed pullets", 3 were male and I am actually having slight doubts about one of my 2 females.

So now, to me, TSC saying "sexed pullets" means "almost 100% cockerels guaranteed". LOL

LOL! Well, I got a barred rock out of the same bin and she IS DEFINITELY a pullet.

I've had RIR hens in the past, actually the same situation--from TSC, and never had any question they were hens. This one's just...weird. I honestly cannot understand the whole position thing. It's weird, but that's how I sex my young ones--push down on their back, and if they assume the position--wings out, butt up--and then shake it off--female. If they fight it--male. This one accepted it readily. I've never had a rooster do that. It's just weird. LOL

I'd say a rooster. This is my RIR pullet at 5 months. Just looking at the comb and waddles, they look identical, but mine does not have the tail feathers. She is tall and lanky too, thin not like my other RIR's but after 2 threads now of asking, the guesses were for a pullet. Plus no crowing yet and her sister is starting to look like her.

Brooster: I agree, all my RIR's look like males as they get older, if there is such a thing

My Buffs and BSL's just look girly.

She's the one in the front
