Then here's all my wynadottes a few wks ago, they're almost 15 wks, now, I'll try to get a more recent pic soon, shouldn't be too hard since it was a record of 111 degrees today, they go out of their pen & then straight back in b/c its cooler in there.

Pretty birds! I'm ready to finally get my flock established! Too many roosters! They have got to go!

Apparently losing leghorns is a recent trend. :\ I just had to cull mine. She kept getting sick on me. She had something wrong with her gut/intestine. She's get sick, I'd get her well, she'd stay well for a couple months, she'd get sick again, rinse, repeat.

Yea that is pretty weird about loosing white leghorns :( It sucks, b/c so far they have been the best & tamest chickens I have had, they actually were sold to me with the 2 dominques & they weren't tame really at all, but the leghorns would always come hop up in my lap if i was sittin down, the one I have left I think her bumblefoot is coming back...her foots getting more and more swollen :(, not looking forward to doing surgery on her again, she's already had surgery once on each foot...it was pretty brutal, i was afraid she'd hate me after that trauma but she still loves me.

I'm sure that them being WHITE is probably NOT a very good thing unless u live where it constantly snows LOL, b/c they do kinda stick out...compared to the others we have...they aren't very camoflauged....
