I already posted about getting our 1st itty bitty eggs last week and I really didnt think they would be worth anything cause some people said they would more than likely be yolkless............
Well they do have yolks

I need an egg for a recipe and of course we are out of store bought eggs so I thought well I'll just crack the 3 itty bitty's we got last week, I was so

when I saw the yolks and 1 of them had the bulls eye! They are so cute! We should get another one today, cause they've been laying every other day

The eggs that are usually yolkless are what are called "wind eggs" or "fart eggs".

Congratulations Jen4! First eggs are so exciting. We have been getting eggs for a while now and we still are amazed that we get all sizes. Some of them are real whoppers - like OUCH that had to hurt - and others still small. When cooking I sometimes use two small just to try get up to one large.

It's just like Christmas every morning going out to see what is waiting!!
