With other countries, I wouldn't doubt that there are people that ride around like that. But I, personally, would never put children on a bike in an unsafe situation like that. Unless it is made for it and they have safety equipment.

I think the baby is photoshopped, the handle is not attached to anything. The rest of the picture is probably true. It is pretty common in many parts of the world.

When I visited mainland China I saw a lot of sights similar to this. Not with this many folks on one cycle, but close to it. Just people doing what Has To Be Done in order to Get Through Their Day. People transporting several family members on one cycle, with bundles of groceries, goods, and laundry hanging from sticks off the sides.

It's gotta make you grateful for all the blessings you enjoy and never think twice about having!
