This is the strangest one yet....

This egg was ENORMOUS. Over 3 1/2 ounces, with a few odd bulges on it. When I shook it it felt like there was something hard rattling around in there! So I opened it, and there was a second eggshell inside it. I've heard of this happening, but have never seen it before. This must be the same hen who has laid two shell-less eggs in the last two days. I found the missing shell!
