With the general population not understanding the whole raising of meat birds thing it is nice to have someone to talk to who has experienced raising meat birds. So my new kindred spirit is a 7 year boy at the school where I work. In his 7 year old wisdom and experience he says to a group of kids who asked us how you get meat from chickens..."well first ya just gotta chop their heads off then do some other stuff that my grampa takes care of then ya get ta eat em".
