This kitten just showed up at my house and now I don't know what to do

Hiii, I've got another question 😅. The kitten is doing great, I named him roman (ik it's not a good name but it needed a name) and he is staying outside 24/7. I can't really bring him inside since our house is so open and nobody except me likes cats in this family 🙄. I wanted to know if he will leave when he grows up or stay? I live in a commercial area (for now, moving in January or February) and there is alot of food and alot of cats everywhere. Ive gotten attached to him and really want him to stay :(. He is growing up fast and in like a week or two he will be able to climb the walls.

My cats were outdoor cats in a neighborhood. One of them used to run around and get fed by everyone else, but she always came back to me. If your kitten knows that you give good food and you are a safe person who won't hurt him, he'll come back. I've never had someone else's well cared for adult cat show up and stick around, just feral strays or kittens.

I could only get zentel (albendazole) from the nearest store.. Is it safe for him or should I continue my search for other wormers? One of my relatives is coming from England this month and they also have a cat which they recently wormed. I could ask them to bring the leftover wormer. They used panacur.
If they can bring you dewormer, then also ask for some flee shampoo or the like, he'll probably have them if he's been out on the streets. And you might have to make it periodical if you allow him to go out.
Love cats, they are great pets and pest controllers. A rescued cat is super attached to his rescuer, so if you evaluate that you will be able to keep and sustain him for the rest of his life, go for it, if not make the extra effort to get him to a shelter. It's super sad to see abandoned house cats and sometimes they'll become so depressed when abandoned that they'll allow themselves to get injured so that they can die.

A male cat will room lots if he is not neutered, it might be very stressful because they do tend to leave for weeks or months at a time when they chase after females.
There are ways to put up deterrents to avoid him climbing up a fence; if you have a garden and plan on having him live there I'd definitely do something about it.

Good to know! Thanks for answering.

He trusts me completely now I can pet him, hold him he doesn't mind. I dont know how long he has been around but I started to see him 3 days ago. He's been through a lot. I have a dog and he has been chasing him around and stressing him out alot. I've seperated them now though.
Cats throw up... hair balls, etc. They eat stuff and throw it up on your doorstep or bring you presents of dead lizards, small birds, etc.
If it ate something it was not supposed to or its stomach was empty... just stomach acid.
No worries. Just keep on what your doing.
Make sure you wash your hands after handling, since kitten is in quarantine.
Malnutrition and cold can certainly make a good kitten weak. After a week or two, you'll have to see if it acts wild. It may never be able to be a house cat.
We fostered a kitten and we had her inside and she would attack our son's face.

Unfortunately, they came earlier because their flight got cancelled. But I can get a flea shampoo next time I make a trip to the pet store or try to find in the local shops.
That's so sad to hear. So many pets get abandoned here in Pakistan when they get old, injured or turn out to be something they (owners did not expect). Locals treat strays so bad here too.

About everyone in your family not liking cats, that can complicate things quite a bit. Un-neutered male cats also tend to leave pee marks to attract females, if you have house plants and they have access to it they might pee or pop there. When they are little you can teach him to use a litter box and avoid almost completely that kind if problem; just put it, put him inside it and move his frontal paws as if he were scratching the sand, usually that's all they'll need.

He always tries to be near me and does not attack anyone. Idk about "wild" but he is very playful and runs here and there alot (like zoomies in dogs) and plays alot with ball, toys etc. He is always screaming for cuddles.

He has a litterbox and uses it. I have saved enough money to get him neutered and I can get 50% discount if I report him as a stray to the vet.
