I was thinking of feeding the raccoons to the chickens. It would not only pick up their immune systems but think of the poetic justice. Raccoons are kind of natural so would that make my chickens organic?

You can actually use a coon carcass to create a maggot feeder for the chooks....

Well, I'd eat coon before a dog or horse... Not even in my "wildest drunken spree" could anybody convince me to eat horse or dog

Although I rescue both horses and dogs, so I guess I'm biased.

Getting back to the organic thing... Studies show that most tumors removed from people are just full of chemicals from pesticides etc... Maybe "organic" isn't such a bad thing. I also find the veggies to last last longer than the "normal" veggies. If the pesticides deteriorate the food like that, it can't be good for us...

Ya gotta love a thread that encompasses organic labeling, radon gas, maggots, scrubbing raw chickens with a toothbrush, and eating horses......
