ok but do you know if a chicken has had immunizations is it considered non-organic? and if so...how do the producers do it...assuming they would have a large quantity of birds to supply a grocery store chain?

A large producer of organic chicken who supplies store chains are probably operating on the government's idea of organic, which is sometimes not so organic. I would assume they would just not vaccinate their chicks?

I'd still eat it. Besides, if one has a healthy immune system theres less risk in the first place.

All this discussion is just one more good reason for a person to raise and eat their own chickens. Then you know just what goes in the end product, if they've been processed in a clean manner and just how healthy they lived their lives.

You would think more RACCOONS would be killed by eating this contaminated RAW CHICKEN.

Maybe we should be eating more raccoons to boost our immune system
