OK, I just heard from MFB. He had a bad night and ended up in the hospital last night. He is stabilized and back home for now. Surgery is still scheduled for Wednesday when two specialists are available. He's feeling really "whupped" and probably won't be posting much, but his attitude remains positive. He is overwhelmed by and appreciative of the concern evidenced by all of you. Either he or his wife will try to keep me updated until he is stronger.
