Maybe enlightening her husband to her affairs would be a wake up call. who knows, he might actually love this dingbat and care whether or not she lives or dies.

Some people are just too stupid to help Debi. Not much you can do with a grown woman who thinks with her genitals.

P.S. : I met my husband online and never laid eyes on him until I stepped off the plane in Washington State to marry him. Long wonderful story....but it can work. We will celebrate our 8th Anniversary on March 10th.

I think, in someway, it could be better online. I don't know. I'd guess maybe you have a chance to find out more about the person's likes and dislikes, where their heart is, etc.? As long as both are being brutally honest, that is.

I'm really sorry to hear about your coworker. You gave solid advice - IF she's gooing to do this kind of thing (and it seems like you can't stop her), she should be meeting in a crowded, public place - like a restaurant/bar or the like.

I know you're worried this weekend. Any friend would be.

Debi, what a tough situation. I think I would try to put as much distance between myself and that person as possible. That kind of stupid might be contaigous.

Seriously, anyone who makes those kind of choices, and gets you involved even just by discussion is bad news. Maybe her safety was telling you and your boss where she was going, but with so many nutjobs out there......I just hope hubby or boyfriends don't come calling at work.

Boy, I do hope she is ok! I've heard far too many horror stories and many times those incidents occur just because of someone's stupidity.

I've heard just as many good stories though, so I realize internet dating is not always a negative thing! It just scares me when I think about it...not really sure why! (Guess most of it is due to growing up in a household with a dad who was a cop!)
