Aydan has had a really rough day today. His hand/finger is doing well. They opened the area on his abdomen today. It was really nasty. Both the pediatrician and surgeon are telling me that it is the second infection that has them most concerned. They had to restart his IV which was not pleasant. It took several attempts. They also had to draw more blood for tests. He has cried so much today. My husband arrived late this afternoon to relieve me. I will return early in the morning. Aydan cried to come home. Needless to say, I cried too. Wish I could bring my baby home.
