Im praying for you and youre family , I know the stress youre going thrugh my little one spent many many days of his life in a hospital bed and though I thought it was horrible when he was tiny the last time when he was about 2 and he could beg me to take him home was almost as hard as sitting by his bed side at 4 months whith him on a ventalator after throat surgry.
Make shure you stay aware of his body and that the Dr's stay agressive , infections can be horribley tricky and elusive

Just got word that they are sending my baby home!

I can't wait to get my hands on him this morning and give him lots of hugs and kisses. My husband stayed with him last night, so I could come home and tend to domestic duties and I was headed back this morning. However, since he's coming home, I've been told by the dh to stay put and wait. They're an hour away, so I'm on pins and needles! Thanks for all the prayers. It's always nice to know that there are those willing to pray for complete strangers in need.

He is precious. I am glad he is doing well enough to go home. He looks like a sweet boy!

Susan,
he is still on antibiotics and they changed his asthma medication while in the hospital. He is taking breathing treatments twice a day now.

They removed the fingernail and most of the skin between the nail and top finger joint, but it will grow back in time (I hope).

He's been incredibly cheerful and energetic since being home. He apparently is feeling much better
