I want snow. Its been raining for the past 2 days and its hell on the corrals and animals. We are going to go from an ocean of water to a giant ice sheet if it freezes in the next few days. My chickens have moved into the cow barn, the cows are trying to move into the chicken coop, and I can't get to any thing without hip waders. I am heading to the feed store to stock up; there is potential for a real mess to happen.
From a fellow Ontarian, who has ducks swimming in her donkey coral at this very moment, and the donkey brought to higher ground (the front yard), I can sympathize. We have a rain warning in effect. Seriously, I don't know if I have ever heard of a rain warning in this area before. The weather network said 50mm when its all said and done. Then, as you stated, it will freeze. I am stocking up at the grocery store in a few minutes because the world doesn't need one more nervous lady driver like myself on the road when the ice rain hits. (Fact: There are lots of wonderful lady drivers out there, I am not trying to state anything, I just happen to not be one of them!)
ouch, we just got a whole bunch of snow, but I would rather have the snow then the rain.
