Interesting coloration on Calypso.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think calypso's breast screams spalding? Yes, Birdrain, I know what the people you got them from said (no green) but I've just never had an IB hen with a breast like that. My spaldings however have identical feathers on their breasts.

I would also venture a guess that Calypso is the dominant one of the 2, she has a nice crest and continues to peck Thor's crest off.

You know one time when I was a kid I had a green anole named Louie. I thought he was a boy because he had a pink throat. Every once in a while when I cleaned his soil I'd find these big white turds. It took a while to finally accept that those turds were eggs and that Louie was a girl.

I've never seen a spalding in person, just what you gals and guys post here, and from those pictures and the fact that she looks *nothing* like my IB hens, I would have to agree that she is a spalding.
