I don't have peafowl but I check up on this thread often for entertainment. That pic is the best so far.

I keep waiting for this kid to admit he's got a Thora.

You and all the rest of us may be waiting a very long time. Since he claims that his Peafowl are "Late Bloomers", Thora may be 3 years old before he finally says Uncle!

Well for now I still think Thor is a male, as I have from the very beginning. But as I've said before, I don't care whether or not Thor is truly a male or female. I will still love him no matter what.

But I can honestly say I've seen quite a few pics of peahens that look similar to Thor. But, for now, I will still say he is a male and hope for the best.

All of you have given very clear factors that make lots of sense. (And this comes from me, who didn't know a thing about Peafowl before this past year. Besides the fact that "peacock" was the only thing I knew. I honestly just called all peafowl "peacocks" before beginning this journey into Peafowl World.)

If my friend Birdrain is indeed wrong about Thor, I will know to trust you all a lot more and won't be afraid to say I was wrong to believe Birdrain. And I thank you all for this thread and all the other ones on here that have actually taught me LOTS about peafowl these past few months I've been exploring. So I thank you greatly for the new knowledge you've granted me and I apologize for my doubt in advance if you all end up being the correct ones.

And to make it very clear, no Zaz, I'm not brainwashed...

OK Thor has already turned out to be a female and you can not change that.

The only real thing you achieved by all this hoopla is that folks will most likely never trust your word about a peafowls gender on this site.
