Color plays into this as well. My two hens in with a spalding peacock and an opal we peacock prefer the spalding.Females don't breed with a male because of the color or pattern but because of the length and dominance
Wow...are you referring to me? I say Thor is a hen, just in case you forgot. And guess what? I am pretty sure I was wrong about my "bronze white eye peahen." You wanna know what? I happened to send pictures to a great peafowl breeder who gave me those hatching eggs, and my hen may be a peacock, and since she is starting to get white he thinks it is progressive pied, which you are not dealing with. So I was wrong, and just learned and am very excited about my bronze progressive pied! Just ignore my bronze white eye peafowl, since those are out of bronze progressive pied pen, way to complex for a thread where the peahen's owner cannot see his hen is a hen!I can see the difference between that peahen and Thor that only one person has seen but has been silent. The barring is becoming more defined not fading. Something earlier. Another person called it misting. It involved that Bronze peahen is when the term misting.
If it was me, see above. And I DO NOT agree.Well i guess you got at least one person to agree with you on the wings, but i don't think he has any peafowl.
