Blue Creek,your IB B/S pic is truly a nice looking Peacock. I also have one but last year I noticed a few of his train eyes were getting white. Not all,just a few.(He will be 5 yrs old this spring) Last night when I did chores inside the Palace he was up on the perch with his train facing me and hanging down. For the first time since I moved all my adults inside 3 months ago, I was able see the new developments and progress this boy is making and there is much more w/e showing up now, and the eyes are bigger this year. I'm going to pen him with 3 IB hens that all are carrying at least one copy of white.None of the hens are b/s but I'm sure to get a few and all will be 2 white carriers.

I was curious, so I just measured the surface temperature of some eggs that a hen is sitting on and they varied in temp from 96 to 101.
