The person I quoted above had Thor is a peacock in the signature LOL. Even doubt peafowl breeders telling them it's a hen ***

LMFAO!!!

There was something in the past few pages that I had a comment about but after reading all of this I forgot it…

I got a 50/50 shot at getting this correct by just guessing looking at a picture, same as you have. Not bad odds,eh? Only two possible answers, male or female, not like it's a multiple choice. But unless you DNA or learned a way to vent sex at 1 day old, until you achieve a 95% proven accuracy rate, you cannot say "I can sex IB peachicks easily on day 1" You cannot visually comprehend that Thor is actually a "Thora" at 6 months of age,let alone a 24hr peachicks sex.I can 100% sex IB chicks at 3months of age but I'm here to learn so please show me this proven method at 24hrs of age please? Pics would be nice too.

7 to months to 13 months my pied males progressively get their blue/black cheeks unless they are hens then they stay the same

How is Thore comming along with that?

I'm believing peafowl can now be sexed immediatedly after the eggs are laid even before incubation. Has to do with how pointy the end is, the exact time of day it was laid, and what the parents astrological sign is.One more thing,,,if the egg was laid while the hen was,or wasn't on a perch.Did it see airtime?
