Not talking about the barred bar feathers that hens have I'm talking the shoulder. I've yet to see a hen with barring in those areas.
That first one is a really good picture. It clearly shows that she is a hen. Disregard the 3 tiny so-called barred feathers and just look that the pattern of her feathers. Notice how the green color just comes to a dead stop where the neck meets the shoulders. I'm attaching 2 pics, they are different colored birds, but you can clearly see how the hen'

colored feathers come to that dead stop and then everything is plain brown, while the males greenish colored feathers continue down across his back between his shoulder blades, eventually turning into train feathers. As I said different colored birds, but both are around the same age as Thora.
