Those who need help in sexing peafowl

The sad thing is Birdrain want to show these birds in the fair and to my knowledge it is to show the birds in their truest form and best condition of the breed, he has a spading and no peacock yet he intends to show them as a IB pair,they are not in condition , don't make much sense to me

It is unfortunate. I think his intentions are good, in that he wants to educate others about Peafowl, but in order to educate others he must first educate himself. This doesn't seem to be something he is interested in, but then youth and patience seldom go hand in hand. No longer a problem for me!

i have 2 9 month old indian blue peafowl the one has a light brown underfeather and the other has a dark so is the light one the male and also the darker one is a little bit bigger idk if justit will catch up to the other or what

By 9 months it should be pretty easy to get you an answer.

I think it is great that you guys are tolerating the kid. I feel that if it was an adult that you would have told us to buzz off a long time ago, but don't kid yourselves, this thread has educated many more people than you know! Your time has not been wasted.
