Those who use an "All Flock" feed, PLEASE help me decide on a feed!

bowl of water to clean their bills out. Which by the way they are likely to tip over.
OMG did I laugh when I read that, tears running down my face laughing. "Likely" to tip over?

Ducks are on a mission to make the whole planet into a marsh land, one bowl of water at a time. (Yes, I love them)

I use bowls within bowls, the bottom bowls have bricks in them (an old soup pot works well) to keep them from tipping and ideally one basin for bathing and a bowl with "too narrow for climbing into" dimensions for drinking.

Ducks are amazing... But messy! Like toddlers with their first sandbox... Or toddlers learning to eat spaghetti. If you think it is cute, you are in love... If you don't... Best to rehome them, it doesn't get better ;)

I use kiddie pools, 2.5 gal rubber bowls, all sorts of stuff. And empty frequently.

I just got a new bag of Kalmbach 20% Flock Maker pellets.
This is the label which I think means May 20, 2023.
That is 8 weeks old when it gets to me.
Is that considered old? Or do you think that is OK?

How do any of those numbers correspond to May 20th? Do you have a key you looked it up with?
EDIT - I think 8 weeks is okay, but t really depends on how fast the birds will eat it up. You could freeze a bunch of it, that will help. I didn't worry too much when it was winter, but now I'd want it pretty fresh. However, I have three, and really only two that are eating, so a 40lb bag could be a problem. I don't have freezer space for it.

My understanding is that 23140 means the 140th day of 2023. And the 140th day of 2023 was May 20th.
If I have that wrong please tell me!

Cool. You are correct according to a quick search https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/mill-date-help-on-kalmbach-feed.1454592/

Then there's this which is stressing my mental capacity as it gets into Julian vs Gregorian calendars!

and

EDIT here's a handy chart from the threadlink above, posted by @Lauravonsmurf

Is that the actual manufacture date? Or best before date?

I have had feed here for the horses over winter and it’s fine when I get back in the spring. In a sealed container it will last for months. As long as it doesn’t get wet and is stored in a sealed container it will be good.
