I adopted a duck that had lived with chickens. Her previous owner told me that she thought she was a chicken. One duck probly will not be as happy as two. From what I've read, adding ducks to chickens is ok, but adding chickens to ducks is not, due to the messiness of ducks. One day I'd like chickens, but I'm just sticking to ducks right now. You will like your duck, I think. They are fun.
