Sorry for the loss, but little peep peep there might not really have been meant to make it if it had died so early on. Defects, especially internal ones are pretty common so I don't think there's anything you could have done for him.

yep I know. I just hate to not help them hatch if they are alive, but not coming out on their own - once they get up to that air sac. I know I had to help that one a ton- and there was too much blood, but it was almost a week after its siblings...not sure how it was still alive in the shell! Oh well, I'm on to 2 other bators of eggs...always looking forward to the next hatch here. Thanks all...
