Thoughts on breed?

I know these are not the best photos. It the baby chick photo this guy is in the back. Has slate legs but no feathers. Any ideas on breed/sex? Chick is almost 5 weeks old.

No, I purchased the eggs. First time for that I made a few rookie mistakes. They were supposed to Oliver eggers, Blue or Chocolate Orphington, maybe Black Sex Link?, and Blue and Black Birchen Marans in the mix. I think that is what she said. I cannot find the exact post.

I'm showing my ignorance but there were 2 eggs that hatched - one was the dark one and one was the lighter one in the back. The two chicks are shown in the top pic but the one in the front with the black and white didn't make it. I am not sure which chick came out of which egg sorry to say.

Could be a blue Marans? Are the legs feathered? Marans should also have pink skin on the bottom of their feet.

No feathers. I can check feet this evening, if Moma will let me close enough.

It is almost certainly a cockerel and will probably be a Marans cross, possibly an olive egger although I doubt you will see any eggs from him.

Still could be a Marans, I believe it's the French variety have feathered legs instead of clean legs.
