Thoughts on covering

My husband and I are using an old trampoline as a silkie coop. I’m thinking only half covered to keep them dry and housed and the rest covered with hardware cloth. Here’s what we have so far. Wold love some ideas and tips

Ahh it's a hoop coop! Looks like it'll be a nice base for a build. I don't have experience setting one up but there's quite a lot of examples of those on this site, if you need reference material.

Good idea for sure! How will you attach it to the ground so it doesn't flip over or fly away?

  It’s screwed to the poles that are part of my other chicken run behind it

Cover it all with HC, that'll help hold up the weather proof part.
