Thoughts on this Coop

They didn't give the dimensions of the "coop" part of that model. Recommendation for back yard flock is a minimum of 4 s.f. in coop and 10 s.f. in run per bird. The big issue issue with that coop, even if it does have adequate s.f. in the coop section is going to be shoddy construction and most likely lack of adequate ventilation. You can easily put together a coop that would be twice the size for about 1/2 the price. Instead of spending time and extra money fixing shoddy construction, you will be doing it right the first time.
Yes!!!! Preach this.:wee

We actually bought this farmhouse coop from chickencoopsnw. We'll be putting 2-3 hens in it with a separate fenced in space for them. It's very cute...but...to be honest, it's no better construction than the TS coop you made this thread about, and that one is a bit bigger. This one is 30 sq ft total. And this coop costs about $150 more...it's going to work for a year or 2 (we hope), but I wish I had just gotten the TSC coop and saved $150 bucks. This company says its small and family owned, but this coop is def NOT made by their family....I'm thinking overseas like the TS coops...we did some re-enforcements and it will work long enough for us to know how we want to build our next one. Hope this helps.

Think about building your own. If this 68yo gramma can build one with no building experience so can you. Mine isn't done yet but should be within 2 weeks. Will have the grandsons help with the roof as I cannot lift 4x10 sheets for the roof.
