Ok, the coop measures 39” x 46” by 26” high inside.Filled up with the 6 nests?
It’s wet right now through from the rain we got yesterday.. on that outside front wall... can I seal that?Looks in fairly decent shape...definitely needs some work.
Take nests out?
I see some water staining from leaks.
Is that including the nests?Ok, the coop measures 39” x 46” by 26” high inside.
The staining on the inside of one of those windows means the roof or the window cover is not keeping rain out..I'd want to fix that. It’s wet right now through from the rain we got yesterday.. on that outside front wall... can I seal that?

If you're not going to use the coop for layers, I'd rip those nests out.

How to fix it?..... not sure, gotta find out how the water is coming in.
Might take some time and observation to figure it out exactly what the problem is in order to fashion a solution.
Particle board on the outside there too?I’m thinking I can coat it with weather sealant on the outside?
It feels like a coated particle board... like fake wood on the outside but shiny the inside is definitely particle board...Particle board on the outside there too?
If so, I doubt a sealer would work for long....let it totally dry out then use a good paint.
Or add decent siding and fix those window covers. ... hinge at top might help.
Re-siding it with something more durable would be great. I agree with ripping out the nests, if this is just for grow out no need to have them eating up space. I'd replace the chicken wire over the window with hardware cloth or welded wire and sandwich them in place, looks stapled on.
