I wish mine would just hatch. Why does it need to take SO dang long?! When I first put the eggs in my brother said (two minutes after the eggs were in) "are the babies ducks gonna hatch now?" Lol

My one egg just started rockin' back and forth so that's a good sign. Mean he has enough moisture to move at least. I think the other one is a gonner.

Sorry I haven't responded the weather's starting to get nasty here. I'm heading out to take care my horses and goats. Before I left though There is nothing going on in the incubator. No noise no peeping no pecking no movement. Not sure what to do when I get back. Any suggestions???

The peck awhile then rest. it's hard work breaking out of an egg. I just about have to use a hammer to break open my muscovies eggs, can you imagine how difficult it is for the duckling but thats why it's such a struggle for them so they will be tough when hatched. Try to relax.
