The sick duckling is 9 days old. It was eating great yesterday afternoon. Then went lethargic and off food last night. It didn't even drink water last night, but it has at least been drinking well all day today.

Let me reconsult the guru. It was eating normal food, others with it thriving. Was happy until day 8, and now drinks but appears to be not hungary. watery white stools, clear eyes, no nasal leakage, or anal weeping? (gross, sorry) She gonna ask me.

Well eggs are rocking, but can't see any progress since pip. Egg 5 still hasn't pipped. Come on, little chickies! I can't wait to meet you!

Yes to everything you just said. 1st poop watery, but 2nd poop more solid. The white appears normal, though, as all 6 duckies are pooping the white crud.. I think it is remains of something on the inside, something like that... That is normal, right? My last set did it too around that age.

One other thing, last night it had more of a lower pitched whimper, but today is back to the higher pitched peep.

QJ - I only said hi to SM becasue I saw her lurking on the list of peole in the "room", but she didn't ever say anything. I greeted her anyway.

We forced approx 2 polyvisol drops in its beak last night and again today. We are about to treat it again in a few minutes.

We have checked inside beak for obstructions and see nothing. I have forced beak nasal holes into water, and it sneezed the water out like normal.
