So far 5 ducklings out, 4 resting in their shells, and 1 still zipping. I think I finally got my 100% hatch!

So far.. the ducks are starting to take an interest in us because Squishy wants our attention and they finally learned we're the "food and water gods" and sometimes GREENS for treatsCG: I see some green poo out there too. If I had another goose I don't think I'd have to mow. I didn't know geese went for grass like this! Oh my goodness!
Psue: My Fiona is with 7 little duckies and she still loves me. I'm waiting for her to go through the "people are murderers stage". But so far.. nothing.![]()
poor ducks, kinda like a middle childThat's how mine are. When they are in the brooder they all scream bloody murder for me to come over, but if I try picking them up in there they run away screaming. They all stick close outside though. The goslings will get distracted and wander off eating grass an the ducklings will stand in the middle of the geese and me looking back and forth and start crying until the goslings come over then they all follow me.

I saw those! They are super purty! Are they moms or yours or both?
Also apple cider vinegar works well. It's a natural antibiotic too.
Pics after your nap.
Both of ours. She buys the feed, I feed them, and find sellers for eggs.. Then we split on whatever we make off them.I saw those! They are super purty! Are they moms or yours or both?
So can anybody tell me if I am suppose to do anything to the apple vinegar cidar before I give it to the ducklings and how much am I suppose to give them and how often. HELP!!!!![/QUOTE]How much should I give them and do I add sugar or anything to it? Need details.
You could raise your humidity to 5 degrees over and then slip it out. That's what I do. Does that make sense?I helped my horribly shrink wrapped ducky (due to a coop accident) out this morning. No problems, no blood went without a hitch. came out of the egg into a paper towel on the palm of my hand.I'm afraid an egg that was pipped at the time may have shrink wrapped in the process of the quick open and close of the bator. But I now have 5 or 6 pips in the bator and don't want to rick the rest. I feel bad for what could possibly happen if I don't help that one....![]()
